Backup Driver

The gear lever is stuck in reverse. A tsunami fills your windshield. The road you need is in the rear-view mirror.

Backup Driver is a first-person driving game where you only ever go backwards. Read the road in a small, shaky mirror and get out before the wave gets you.

• Reverse through wrecks, potholes, cracks and broken bridges, by mirror.
• The car comes apart around you: push the mirror back when a bump knocks it, slap the dashboard when the engine smokes, pick the pedal up off the floor when it falls off.
• Squeeze past things for near-miss multipliers and big scores.
• Meteors, aftershocks, sinkholes and rockslides try to end your run.
• Two modes: EVACUATION (3 km to the rescue point) and ENDLESS (how far can you get?).

S reverse · W brake (hold when stopped to creep forward) · A / D steer · hold right mouse button to look around and reach with your right hand · left mouse button to grab or press · R restart
